Carers Support Initiative Project Officer - Roma
Part Time - 16 hours per week
$28.3116 per hour
Carers Queensland is a dynamic and growing organisation and the leader of the provision of professional support services for family carers through its regional network of services and programs. The Carer Support Initiative aims to strengthen the resilience of families supporting a person with a disability by providing them with the opportunity to share issues and work on practical solutions together. The intent of the initiative is to provide flexible and responsive approaches to reduce the impact caring may have on carer's employment, their family life and general wellbeing. The two models under the Carer Support Initiative are the Family Collective Model and the Transitional Planning Model. The position is for 16 hours per week from January to July 2012 to cover maternity leave.
